Feminists are mad at Natalie Portman for saying that motherhood is her ‘most important role.’
you have GOT to be kidding me, feminists.
seriously, calm the fuck down. Isn’t it anti-feminist to demand that someone think the way you think??
DEAR LORD. Because being responsible for the life of another human being isn’t important at all.. Instead, we should all be concerned about the fact that signs on women’s bathroom doors are just a variation of the men’s sign. Or that history is, in fact, called HIStory, which is a testament to how much of a patriarchal society we live in.
Guess what? I’m okay with the little triangle dress, and I’m more than okay with the fact that Natalie Portman thinks that taking care of her CHILD, being a good mother, and being PROUD of that is important.
Not to mention, I’m sure Natalie Portman will teach her child, male or female, that respecting women and all people is important. She seems like a pretty legit person.
